Months 4 through 6.

It's been over 6 months.
This stage has been great.
We find our son more and more adorable all the time.

Here he is at six months:

He sure is a cutie.
Look at those ears.
Those definitely came from his dad's side of the family.

So what have we been up to the last few months?

Month 4 included a visit from family...
Uncle John, Aunt Morgan, and Cousin Gareth
Everyone had a great time.

Gareth loved reading to Jackson.

And making him laugh.

Here's a couple more sweet pictures:

As i said, we all had a great time.
It will be so fun when we get to visit them in July!

Also at the end of Month 4 (February) I took my first
trip without Jackson.
Girls' weekend in Blackhawk.
Just one night away.
Jonathan packed my bags.

It was so fun and Jackson did great with his dad.

In March, we had lots of playdates.
March Madness with Tyler.
And Jack, born only 10 days after Jackson.
They are so sweet with each other.
Here's a couple pictures of the two of them.

He also started putting his foot in his mouth.
All the time.

We got Jackson a passport.
It really is hard to get a passport picture
of a 4 month old.
Laying him down on a white sheet is the way to go.

We tried to go to the movies.
The King's Speech.
Jackson woke up and then was too noisy.
They were so nice and refunded my ticket.

Month 6 (April) brought more visitors.
Jackson's Nana and Papa John.
He adored them both very much.
It was definitely a nice visit!

The weather was so great that we took
our first family camping trip!
To Estes Park.

We started Jax on solid foods.
First official foods were a carrot and an apple.
First jar of pureed baby food was bananas.

My birthday rolled around and we had our first date night.
Martini's Bistro and a movie.
I've had to think a few minutes to remember the name of the movie.
Source Code with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Had to look up how to spell his name, too.
But it was one of the best date nights ever!
Thanks to Megan and Chris for watching Jackson.

For my actual birthday we went to the Rio.
Another favorite spot.

The next day Jonathan watched Jackson and Tyler.
So Kelly and I could go to the spa.
What a wonderful husband I have.

A few days later was Jackson's first Easter.
Sunrise service and a big Southern breakfast at the Cates'
Here is the Easter outfit:

To round out April was the Royal Wedding.
Quite the event.
We watched at 4am and then again with Jack and Emily.

Overall months 4-6 were fantastic.
Our biggest struggle was the eczema that got worse and worse.
Fortunately month 7 has brought relief for that.

We are so thankful for our sweet son.
