Months 8-12.

It's been over 1 year.
We now have a little boy on our hands.
And unfortunately I've gotten way behind on posting.
But i'll attempt to catch up on some highlights of months 8-12.

In June, Jackson went to his first wedding.
Our friends Kayleigh and Michael.
It was a beautiful day and we all had so much fun.

We also traveled back to NC.
In a car.
To see our family-- many of whom met Jackson for the first time.
It was a looong drive.
But Jackson did great and we had so much fun!

Our set up:

Four generations of Manzes.

Father's Day 2011.

Our son's favorite food:

Time with Nana.

And Papa John.
I love this picture because i think it shows how much Jackson looks like him.

Aunt Pat.

Time in the Pool.

And then we headed to Greensboro to see more family.
Grandma and Grandpa Stafford...

And Aunt Emily.

All in all a great visit... and a great month of June.
Jonathan drove back and I took Jackson back on the plane.
By myself.
And the plane was delayed for a couple of hours.
Ugg.
But we made it.
And we did it again over a week later in July to fly to Boston.
We met up with my parents and Aunt Emily again at my brother's place in Westport, MA.

So beautiful.

My brother, his son Gareth, and Jackson.

Always fun times on the boat.

The only bad part of the trip was the airplane ride.
Where Jackson got sick.
All 3 of us were sick for the last month of summer.
No pictures of that.

In August, with Jackson crawling and 9 months old, I went back to work.
Jackson started daycare at Scribbles.
And my 45 minute drive got to be over an hour each way.
An adjustment to say the least.
But I love my work.
And Jackson loves Scribbles.
So we've gotten the hang of it.

And we still have fun on the weekends.

Our favorite weekend in August... Folks Fest.

And in September we headed to Las Vegas.
To see my friend Ashley.
For my friend Vicki's 50th birthday.
And to enjoy the sites along the way!

Mt. Zion National Park.

Fun times with Ashley!!!

And her husband has a fun job!

Definitely a nice getaway!

Other exciting things about September.

Construction at the house.

And our neighbors had a strange ceremony!

A highlight of October was another trip.
This time to my 10 year college reunion.
I saw some dear friends and had fun being back on campus.

Megan, Courtney, and me.

And of course October brought a trip to the Pumpkin Patch and playing in the leaves!
Jackson did not like the pumpkins.

Or the leaves too much either.

But he did enjoy Halloween.
Our crazy cute pirate.

So that's a quick roundup.
We also had our first snow,
Jackson finally got his first teeth,
and we were all sick for most of October.
The daycare germs are brutal!

More pictures and updates to come.
We now have a 1 year old!
